This property boasts stunning original features but is finished to a high, modern standard, with stunning views in private surroundings, perfect for several families or groups of friends wanting a gorgeous getaway.

Downstairs, you will find a wonderfully modern kitchen, complete with a double oven, and all other appliances needed to easily feed a group of 12. We can help you take the planning out of this by sending one of our private chefs to cook you a beautiful 2 or 3-course meal.

You can enjoy a cocktail masterclass or perhaps wine tasting around the dining table which seats 12, and finish the evening with a game of pool in the games room, or a silent disco in the comfy conservatory…the choice is yours!

Outside, you will find a large sized party hot tub, and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy some fizz under the stars. There is private off-road parking for 4 cars, and the property has an off-road entrance.

The farmhouse is located in Cumbria, in the Northern Lake District, just 15 minutes from the M6. Cumbria is known for its gorgeous micro-pubs and eateries, and there are plenty of establishments within a 25-minute journey of this house.

Fancy getting active? Rookin House Activity Centre is a short drive away, where you can try quad bikes, horse riding, zip wire, human bowling, archery, clay pigeon shooting…and lots more!

All guests at the cottage have full free-of-charge access to the superb leisure facilities at the exclusive North Lakes Spa in Penrith, about fifteen minutes drive from the cottages. The facilities include a 13 metre flat-deck swimming pool, a large steam room, a hot whirlpool spa and twin Finnish saunas.
