Introduction
You can dine in the property’s original bar area, which creates a warm and traditional pub atmosphere. The solid oak tables, handmade by local craftsmen, give the space a cosy and authentic feel. You can also choose from flexible seating options, so your group can eat and socialise in a way that suits you.
Entertaining Spaces
The venue offers several inviting social areas, and each one gives you plenty of room to relax. The large lounge has soft, comfy sofas and makes a great place to unwind after a busy day.
Next, walk through to the bar and dining room. You can sit on a bar stool, chat with friends and enjoy drinks together. The bar can be stocked for you at an additional cost, and we supply the beer kegs for the pumps. Behind the bar, you will also find glassware, drinks fridges, a wine fridge and an ice machine.
There is lots of seating throughout the room. You can choose from bunkettes, benches and dining chairs. The tables make it easy for everyone to get together in a more informal way.
For more fun, the property also includes a dartboard that adds to the pub-style feel. In addition, a smaller games room sits just off the kitchen. It offers junior table tennis, table football and another dartboard.
Kitchen and Utilities
The kitchen is fully equipped and easy to use. It includes two double range cookers, lots of cookware, a microwave and plenty of crockery, utensils and glassware. This setup makes cooking for a large group simple and stress-free.
The main kitchen leads into the utility room, which provides extra storage, good work surfaces, two dishwashers, a washing machine and two sink areas. Because the property includes everything you need, you can self-cater with ease. However, you can also ask us to arrange a private chef or catering service if you prefer.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
The property includes four dwellings: the main building and three stone cottages surrounding a private courtyard. Together, they include seventeen boutique-style bedrooms and fourteen bathrooms. Most bedrooms can be set up as doubles or twins, which gives you flexible options for your group.
