Introduction

This barn is a beautifully renovated property set in the stunning Peak District. It offers superb holiday accommodation with seven en-suite bedrooms. Each room features a classic country style with a gentle French and vintage twist, which creates a warm and inviting feel. Because of its layout, the property works well for groups of up to twenty guests.

Entertaining

The barn includes two comfortable lounge areas, and both spaces give your group plenty of room to unwind. The first lounge has a cosy leather corner sofa and a 40-inch TV with Sky. Meanwhile, the second lounge offers more sofas, another 40-inch TV with the full Sky package, and a log burner for cold evenings.

As you continue through the hallway, you reach a downstairs cloakroom and WC. The whole house has been fully renovated and now benefits from ground-source heating. The water system also supports several showers running at the same time, which makes mornings much easier for larger groups.

The open-plan kitchen is one of the best features of the property. It is bright, spacious and perfect for preparing meals together. The oak units come in a classic French grey, and the handmade three-metre island provides extra seating. Because of the layout, everyone can gather around the kitchen and still feel included.

The kitchen flows into the dining room, which has a large table, chairs and benches. This setup seats up to 18–20 guests. In addition, French doors open onto a patio and a private lawned garden, giving you peaceful countryside views.

Just a few metres behind the house sits a rustic converted outbuilding. Guests can use this as a games room, and it includes a bar area, a pool table, a dartboard and a giant Connect 4. As a result, there’s plenty to do during your stay.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

The barn includes seven beautifully furnished en-suite bedrooms. These rooms provide flexible sleeping arrangements for 14–20 guests. Some rooms offer bunk beds, which makes the property ideal for mixed groups. Most bedrooms can also be arranged as doubles or twins, so you can choose the setup that suits you best.

Each room blends traditional features with modern style. The barn has a surprisingly spacious layout and includes two separate stairwells. Both stairwells sit within the house; however, they lead to different sleeping areas, which gives groups more privacy. Bedrooms 2, 3 and 5 also feature en-suite bathrooms with shower attachments over the bath.

The barn sits in a quiet rural location, and it is an ideal base for exploring the Peak District. You can head out on foot or by bike and enjoy miles of scenic countryside. Popular destinations such as Hartington, Tissington and Ashbourne are easy to reach. You can also join the nearby converted railway line, which forms part of the Tissington and High Peak Trail.
