Askrigg is a charming and picturesque Dales village. Much of it appeared as “Darrowby” in the TV show, so it may feel familiar as you explore. There are three local pubs nearby, giving you plenty of choice for lunch, drinks or a cosy dinner.
You can start many beautiful walks right from the village, and the main street also offers The Bake Well Café and several small shops. The market town of Hawes is only a short drive or hike away.
